Chicken Pho Ga Base
Ingredients
- 400 g shrimp
- 500 g snakehead fish
- 300 g roasted pork
- 1.5 kg rice vermicelli
- 1 small jar fermented fish paste
- 3 tablespoons VV FOODS Pho Ga Chicken Soup Base
- Bean sprouts
- Fresh herbs
- Seasonings
- Chili and lime
Preperation
Steam the shrimp and fish first, then prepare the roasted pork, noodles, and fresh vegetables.
Instructions
- Steam the shrimp until cooked, then peel and remove the heads.
- Steam the snakehead fish, remove the flesh, and set aside.
- Cut the roasted pork into small pieces.
- In a pot, bring about 2 liters of water to a boil. Dissolve the fermented fish paste in water, strain it into the pot, and discard the solids. Add the fish bones if desired for more flavor.
- Skim off the foam, then season the broth with VV FOODS Pho Ga Chicken Soup Base.
- Serve the broth over rice vermicelli with shrimp, fish, roasted pork, bean sprouts, fresh herbs, chili, and lime.
