Chicken Pho Ga Base

Ingredients
  • 400 g shrimp
  • 500 g snakehead fish
  • 300 g roasted pork
  • 1.5 kg rice vermicelli
  • 1 small jar fermented fish paste
  • 3 tablespoons VV FOODS Pho Ga Chicken Soup Base
  • Bean sprouts
  • Fresh herbs
  • Seasonings
  • Chili and lime
Preperation

Steam the shrimp and fish first, then prepare the roasted pork, noodles, and fresh vegetables.

Instructions
  1. Steam the shrimp until cooked, then peel and remove the heads.
  2. Steam the snakehead fish, remove the flesh, and set aside.
  3. Cut the roasted pork into small pieces.
  4. In a pot, bring about 2 liters of water to a boil. Dissolve the fermented fish paste in water, strain it into the pot, and discard the solids. Add the fish bones if desired for more flavor.
  5. Skim off the foam, then season the broth with VV FOODS Pho Ga Chicken Soup Base.
  6. Serve the broth over rice vermicelli with shrimp, fish, roasted pork, bean sprouts, fresh herbs, chili, and lime.
